تفصیلات کے مطابق سوشل میڈیا پر علی سیٹھی آج بھی ٹرینڈ کر رہے ہیں جس کی وجہ متحدہ عرب امارات سے لے کر بھارت تک اس گیت کی شہرت قرار دی جاسکتی ہے۔ شائقینِ موسیقی کا کہنا ہے کہ شے گل اور علی سیٹھی کے گیت نے سرحدوں کا فرق ختم کردیا۔

پنجابی سے واقفیت رکھنے والے خوب جانتے ہیں کہ پسوڑی کا اردو میں درست متبادل شاید ہی دستیاب ہو، تاہم اگر اس لفظ کے مترادفات تلاش کیے جائیں تو وہ الجھن، مشکل اور مصیبت جیسے الفاظ کے ذریعے سامنے آئیں گے۔ گیت ایسے دو افراد کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے جنہیں ملاقات سے روک دیا گیا ہو۔
نیو یارک ٹائمز کے آرٹیکل میں کہا گیا ہے کہ بظاہر پسوڑی ایسا گیت ہے جو ایک دوسرے سے لامتناہی فاصلے پر ہیں لیکن دونوں کے مابین الگ الگ ممالک یا ستاروں پر ہونے کے باوجود بھی کمال کا مضبوط رشتہ موجود ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا صارفین نے بھی آرٹیکل شائع ہونے پر مسرت کا اظہار کیا۔
