گوگل نیوز پر ہمیں فالو کریںلاہور یونیورسٹی آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز (لمز) کو پاکستان کی ہارورڈ یونیورسٹی کہا جاتا ہے۔
لمز کے طلباء اپنی منفرد تقریبات کی وجہ سے جانے جاتے ہیں، یہی وجہ ہے کہ طلباء کی طرف سے منعقد ہونے والے تقریباً ہر پروگرام کو سوشل میڈیا پر بحث کا موضوع بنایا جاتا ہے۔
حال ہی میں لمز ایک بارپھر سوشل میڈیا پر ٹاپ ٹرینڈ بن گئی، جب یونیورسٹی کے طلباء نے ایک فرضی شادی منعقد کی جسے ’بیچ شادی 2023‘ کا نام دیا گیا، اس شادی کی ویڈیوز سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہیں ۔
اس ایونٹ کیلئے ایک مہم چلائی گئی جس کے بعد 2 سینئرز طلباء کو دلہا اور دلہن بننے کے لیے منتخب کیا گیا اس کے بعد تین روزہ تقریبات پر مشتمل ایک فرضی شادی ہوتی ہے۔
اس شادی کے لیے تمام روایتی تقریبات جیسے کہ ڈھولکی، مہندی، بارات، رخصتی اور ولیمہ سب منعقد کی گئیں۔ تقریب میں شرکت کرنے والےدلہا دلہن کے علاوہ دیگر طلباء کو بھی مختلف کردار دیے جاتے ہیں جیسے کہ میکے اور سسرال والے، قاضی صاحب وغیرہ۔
لمز میں ہونے والی فرضی شادی کی ویڈیوز سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہوئیں تو جہاں کئی صارفین نے اس پر تنقید کی وہیں بہت سے صارفین نے اسے پسند بھی کیا۔
